Amanda D. Szukala
Amanda Szukala tried more than 100 cases as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney before joining the firm in January of 2014. Prior to her beginning with the firm, Ms. Szukala worked for over 6 years as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Oakland County, Michigan. As an Assistant Prosecutor, Ms. Szukala was assigned to the Warrants, District Court, Juvenile and Special Victims Sections, handling civil neglect and abuse matters and misdemeanor/felony criminal matters.
Ms. Szukala graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from James Madison College. She attended Wayne State University Law School and received her Juris Doctor in May of 2006. During law school, Ms. Szukala clerked for Federal Judge Nancy G. Edmunds. Additionally, she served as Managing Editor of The Wayne Law Review, and sat on the Student Board of Governors and Women’s Law Caucus.
Ms. Szukala is admitted to the State Bar of Michigan, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
